I gave birth to my daughter here on 11th April 2013. I started in the midwife led unit but due to some problems with with both me and baby, had to move down to the central delivery unit. I felt completely safe the whole time and every decision was explained to me really well. I unfortunately don't remember the name of midwife on MLU but she was lovely and very reassuring when things started to go wrong. The 2 nd midwife was called Rukaiya and she was amazing, and made me feel that everything was going to be ok. She was bossy when she needed to be and calming when needed! My gorgeous daughter arrived by normal delivery and all turned out well in the end. Staff on the ward were also great in the short time we were there ( no offence but couldn't wait to get home!)
